Summary:
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing scheduling and office support to service providers and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School diploma or equivalent Experience And Skills Speaks, reads and writes English Minimum one- three year(s) in customer service or reception in a health care environment.
Working knowledge of insurance and pre-certification process.
Medical Terminology required.
Working knowledge of standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers and telephones.
License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information:
Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder.
Handling telephones, computers, bending and lifting.
