Provides administrative support to the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacy staff with emphasis on inter and intradepartmental correspondence and general office coordination.
Adheres to Mercy Hospital department policies and procedures and all JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements.
Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.
Responsibilities:
Process Inter and Intra-Departmental Correspondence Schedules appointments, meetings, and locations for meetings as needed Processes mail daily and directs it to appropriate staff Assist with payroll management / corrections Copies materials required by managers and copies forms used by staff Daily tracking and matching of invoice and packing slips from wholesaler, compounding companies and vendors Monthly preparation of wholesaler summaries for Accounts Payable Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or services to patients/guests of specific age groups as designated Promotes positive Guest Services throughout the organization by demonstrating care, compassion and respect to patients, physicians, guests, and staff- Complies with general policies and procedures of the organization/department including- Complies with HIPPA privacy regulations- Performs related duties as necessary-
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Secretarial Science or a minimum of 2 years related experience Experience as Administrative Assistant in a hospital preferred Experience/skills:
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; Medical terminology and computer experience also required.
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
